An opportunity for those who want to take a day off the beaches and the sun of the Côte d'Azur, to go into the splendid places of Arrière pays Nice (hinterland) to go for walks, from the less demanding to those that require a little more training.
There is a Lignes d'Azur bus, which leaves (on Sundays and public holidays) in the morning at 7.15 am from the Nice Vauban stop (with stops at the Gare de Thiers and the Airport) which reaches the Haute & Moyenne Vallée de la Tinée. This is the Rando Bus of the 740 line which arrives at Isola-Village at 8.55 am, in Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée at 9.10 am and in Saint-Dalmas le Selvage at 9.20 am. This "Rando bus", has connections with the shuttles that provide connections between the villages of: Isola-Village - Isola 2000 Auron - Isola-Village Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée. To-and-fro trip costs 10 euros.

The return to Nice includes departures at 4.45 pm from Saint-Dalmas le Selvage, at 5.00 pm from Saint-Etienne-de-Tinée and at 5.15 pm from Isola-Village and arrival in Nice Vauban is scheduled for 7.00 pm, with previous stops at the airport and at the station of Avenue Thiers.
