Imperia-Limone 4-day hiking trip: an unforgettable experience and a great challenge

The hiking trip, organized by the sport association MY is in its 9th edition. Departure in Imperia and arrival in Limone, a 4-day hike (108 km in total) totally immersed in nature! And a great supportive staff - cooking delicious food, carrying heavy weight and setting up tents before arrival - makes the hike lighter and way more pleasant.

An unforgettable experience, the Imperia-Limone hiking trip requires effort, but gives back satisfaction and wonder, allowing participants to win the challenge and get where they believed unthinkable.

Backpack on, participants will get to Limone from Imperia just relying on their two legs, going through breathtaking landscapes.

The trip takes place August 18th-21st and its itinerary is divided into 4 parts:

1st day:
Meeting place: Imperia Oneglia, Piazza Rossini. Hike to Monte Acquarone Chapel and arrival at Colle d'Oggia's tent camp already set up by the staff. Dinner and party under the stars

2nd day:

Departure early in the morning toward Mount Garezzo, lunch and then hike toward Rifugio Sanremo where the staff will prepare a delicious dinner.

3rd day:

Departure from Rifugio Sanremo to Navette Woods, lunch in the woods – choice to get to destination along the mountain route or through 2 summits (Bertrand and Missun). Arrival at Rifugio Don Barbera, for a fun dinner and night

4th day:

Early departure from Rifugio Don Barbera toward the last stage of the trip and the final destination: Limone! And then train back to Imperia riding part of the beautiful Cuneo-Ventimiglia line

As nature and the environment are of utmost importance to the association MY, this hiking trip is zero environmental footprint, thanks to a collaboration with LIFEGATE spa the association calculates the trip's environmental footprint which, then, will be compensated by the creation and protection of woods in Italy (Parco del Rio Vallone).

Additionally, during the hike, the association commits to clean the trail as all changes begin with a small responsibility.
