A new unique exihit is coming soon at MACI, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Imperia.
“In between” is Carin Grudda's exhibit, most prestigious German artist of Ligurian adoption whose art has gained international recognition, marked by dozens of exhibitions all over Europe, reaching in 2011 Venice Biennale.
From July 13th to August 27th, the entire park of Villa Faravelli will be the ideal scenario for a journey among the artist’s impressive bronze sculptures in natural scale: fantastic creatures of a world inhabited by animals and symbolic characters born from the imagination of the artist transforming the park into an enchanted garden.
Carin Grudda's artistic journey will continue inside the museum on the ground floor of Villa Faravelli, with paintings made using watertight and dry tips or on wooden surfaces of recovered objects.
The Mosquito, the Buffon, the Phoenix, and many others will be at the center of the exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Imperia thus marking the Summer season.
Below is the program for the two-days inauguration:
- Thursday July 13th from 6.30pm: free entrance, bar corner and guided tour
- Friday, July 14th from 4:30 pm Carin Grudda will guide young visitors in a creative workshop (reservations welcome).
Sounds and folk melodies by Airis will follow and enliven the park of Villa Faravelli.

- Saturday 10.00am - 1.00pm and 4.30 - 7.30pm
