Prince Albert of Monaco visited Bajardo on Thursday, shortly after 11am, following an invitation by Mayor Jose Littardi.
Prince Albert walked through the alleys of the village center, admired the beautiful valley from Bajardo’s terraces and visited a slate workshop. He also visited San Nicolò Church.
At the end of the small tour, Mayor Littardi hosted Prince Albert for lunch at his house; Bajardo extra-virgin olive oil, surely was the protagonist of this lunch and, in fact, the main reason why Prince Albert chose to visit the village of Bajardo.
Jose Littardi, well-known entrepreneur in Cote d’Azur and Monte Carlo, knows the Prince much appreciates Bajardo olive oil and decided to invite him for a tasting of this year’s production.
Bajardo olive oil will be used by the Palace’s kitchens, as Albert II called for a supply also for the coming seasons. A culinary excellence, Bajardo Extra-virgin olive oil shows the uniqueness of our inland.
